BioHullo, this is a livejournal, I suppose. I'm not quite sure what that is, though I suspect it is a bloggish sort of thing. Which is all to the good, as I've been meaning to start a writer's blog.
Given the above, I am David Parish-Whittaker, a writer. I feel as if I can actually say that now, having become a quarterly winner of the Writer's of the Future contest, and since then gone on to selling a short story to Aberrant Games, for use in an upcoming anthology of shorts centered around a popular game universe of theirs.
But perhaps I should really say, I am a writer because, like all of our wretched kind, I find myself incapable of NOT writing. I started the habit a couple of years back, and several hundred thousand words later, still can not bring myself to just shut up. Ah, well. There may be more benign addictions, but few cheaper.
